Posting A2 posters
An A2 poster is too big for any letter. Royal Mail's Large Letter stops at 353 × 250 mm, and so does the German Maxibrief. Royal Mail's Small Parcel allows up to 45 × 35 cm, which an A2 sheet also exceeds. That leaves two ways:
- Flat in a board-backed envelope or between two sheets of card, sent as a parcel. The poster arrives without any curl and can go straight into a frame.
- Rolled in a postal tube at least 45 cm long. Usually cheaper, but the poster needs a few days under weights to lie flat again.
